In addition to the taught sessions, Rotary Peace Center at Chula also offers two field-based learning opportunities that will allow Rotary Peace Fellows to examine peace and conflict in various contexts as well as locations.
To increase the degree of interaction and understand the complexity of development and peace building on the ground. Field trips are the highlight of the Chula program and thus, two field trips are planned covering in and outside Thailand. Thailand field trips expose the fellows to a number of peace and development issues such as trans-boundary resources management, public policy disputes and development impacts. International Field trip focuses on post conflict peace building and sub-national conflict including countries in Southeast Asia and Asia. Orientation prior to the trips are prepared with insight information from guest speakers. Discussion during the trip and connections are encouraged and fellows are expected to prepare individual and group reflections. International Field trip are prepared with the collaboration from Rotary Peace Alumni. To get the most of the trips, a post trip workshop is convened to make sense of their trip experiences and implications on change making.

- Krabi
- Songkla
- Pattani and the Southernmost provinces.
The International field study locations are, for example:
- Cambodia
- Nepal
- The Philippines
